From local bamboo to finished materials.
We source, process and manufacture bamboo in Kenya, turning locally grown material into bamboo composite products, industrial raw materials and treated poles.
Our production starts with locally sourced bamboo and continues through drying, milling, compounding, extrusion and finishing. Depending on the application, bamboo is processed into composite products, raw industrial materials or treated poles.By keeping sourcing and processing close together, we can manage material preparation, product consistency and supply more directly from Kenya.
Bamboo Composite Manufacturing
We manufacture bamboo composite decking, cladding, flooring and wall panels at our Nairobi facility. Bamboo powder is blended with recycled polymer and processing additives before being extruded into finished profiles.
How it works

Milling — dried bamboo is processed into fine powder.

Compounding — bamboo powder is blended with polymer and processing additives to create a consistent material.

Extrusion — the compound is extruded through profile-specific tooling.

Cooling & Cutting — profiles are calibrated, cooled and cut to length.

Surface Finishing — surfaces can be embossed, sanded or brushed depending on the product.

Bamboo Chips, Powder & Fibre
We process bamboo into chips, powder and fibre for industrial applications. Material can be supplied in different particle sizes and grades depending on the customer’s manufacturing requirements.
How it works

Sourcing — bamboo is collected from Kenyan growers and supply partners.

Treated Bamboo Poles
Selected bamboo poles are dried and treated to improve durability for outdoor and construction-related applications. Treatment requirements depend on pole size, species and intended use.
How it works

Selection — suitable culms are sorted by size and quality.

Drying — poles are dried to reduce moisture before treatment.

Treatment — poles are treated using the appropriate preservation process.

We also support the development of Kenya’s bamboo supply base through seedling propagation and grower relationships.

Our production model is built around bamboo grown and processed in Kenya. By creating demand for locally sourced bamboo and processing it into higher-value materials locally, we strengthen the domestic bamboo supply chain and reduce reliance on imported finished products.
Where recycled polymer is used in our composite production, it also helps reduce the use of virgin polymer feedstock.
