Harvesting of bamboo in action

Why we work with farmers. And why we want to work with you.

It all starts with your bamboo. At We Do Bamboo, we turn Kenyan-grown bamboo into strong, sustainable building products, like decking, cladding, and wall panels.

But none of this works without farmers.

That’s why we’re building a reliable, long-term market for bamboo in Kenya, connecting local growers with a growing manufacturing and raw-material supply chain.

We’re not just sourcing bamboo. We want to build dependable relationships with growers and suppliers as the market develops.

Direct Sourcing

We work directly with growers and local sourcing partners wherever practical.

Long-Term Relationships

Where quality, volume and location fit our requirements, we aim to build recurring sourcing relationships.

Planned Harvesting

We coordinate harvesting and supply in advance wherever possible, helping both growers and our production team plan better.

The earlier you register, the better we can plan the harvest. Let us know!

Even if your bamboo is not ready to harvest yet, registering helps us understand future supply and plan sourcing more effectively.

By registering, you become part of our growing database of bamboo growers and suppliers across Kenya. When demand, location, quality and harvesting timing align, our sourcing team can contact you directly.

What Bamboo Are We Looking For?

Our sourcing requirements depend on the intended application. We consider factors such as species, culm age, diameter, straightness, moisture condition, available volume and location.

Not all registered bamboo will be suitable for every application, and registration does not automatically guarantee purchase.
