"“I recently installed bamboo wall panels and the quality is top-notch. The panels look sleek and modern, and the service was excellent from start to finish. It’s great to see a sustainable, locally-made product in Kenya that outperforms traditional timber."

How to Install Bamboo Composite Decking
Bamboo composite wall panels are fixed directly onto a flat wall surface or timber/aluminium batten framework using a hidden fastener system (Slatted Panel) or adhesive and mechanical fixings (Fluted Panel). Battens should be fixed horizontally at maximum 400mm intervals to ensure a stable, even surface. Panels can be cut to size on-site using standard woodworking tools. A small expansion gap of 3–5mm at the ends of each panel is recommended to allow for thermal movement. Both profiles are lightweight and straightforward to handle, making installation accessible for experienced builders and interior contractors. Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Slatted Panel and the Fluted Wall Panel?
The Slatted Panel is an open-profile board with gaps between each slat, creating a lighter, more open appearance suited to exterior facades and boundary walls. The Fluted Wall Panel has a closed, ribbed surface with no gaps, designed for interior feature walls where a bold linear texture and full wall coverage are desired.
Can bamboo composite wall panels be used outdoors?
The Slatted Panel is designed for exterior use and performs well on building facades, garden walls and covered outdoor structures. The Fluted Wall Panel is best suited to interior spaces and sheltered exterior walls. For fully exposed exterior walls subject to direct rain, the Slatted Panel or our Wide Overlap cladding profile are the recommended options.
How are bamboo composite wall panels fixed to a wall?
Both profiles can be mounted directly onto a flat, smooth wall surface or onto a timber or aluminium subframe, depending on the application. A subframe is recommended where the wall is uneven or where a ventilated cavity is desired to help manage moisture and prolong the life of the panels. Hidden fixings are used to maintain a clean finish. Our team can advise on the best fixing method for your specific wall and project.
Do wall panels require maintenance or repainting over time?
No. Bamboo composite wall panels do not require painting, sealing or sanding. The co-extruded surface is UV-stable and retains its colour and texture without any topcoat. Occasional cleaning with water is sufficient to keep the panels looking their best.
