The Role: Commercial Manager

We’re preparing to launch our Bamboo Plastic Composite (BPC) building materials (products like decking, cladding, and panels) into the Kenyan market.This isn’t about following the market.It’s about creating one.


That’s why we’re looking for a Commercial Manager who’s ready to lead from the front.A hands-on leader who can combine strategy and execution.Who understands how to position innovative materials in a traditional market.And who’s ready to take ownership of our entire commercial roadmap.


What You’ll Be Driving:

  • Sales leadership: Build and lead the sales team, secure key accounts, and drive revenue.

  • Go-to-market strategy: From product positioning to pricing; you’ll shape how we enter the market.

  • Business development: Open doors with architects, contractors, developers, and distributors.

  • Export readiness: Prepare for regional scaling beyond Kenya.

  • Brand building: Work closely with marketing to tell the story of why bamboo matters.


Who Are We Looking For?

You’re an experienced commercial leader, with a background in:

  • B2B project sales (ideally in construction materials or architectural products)

  • Navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders

  • Building and scaling commercial teams


Most importantly, you’re someone who sees opportunity where others see obstacles.You’re not looking to manage an existing pipeline; you want to create one.


Practical Details:

  • Location: Nairobi (or willing to relocate)

  • Position: Full-time, leadership role

  • Start: As soon as we find the right person

  • Impact: You’ll be working on a product that actually makes environmental sense.
